Registration open for BSIS International Conference 2017

The conference team are pleased to announce that registration for the BSIS International Conference 2017 is now open!

This year’s conference will take place on April 6 and 7, with high-profile scholars and practitioners discussing how non-state actors substitute state’s traditional responsibilities. The variety of topics encompass different BSIS’s programmes, going from migration issues to development or conflict situations.

Last year’s conference attracted more than 160 people, coming from Belgium and other European countries, but also diverse in their professions. Our social programme is a particularly good opportunity for our students to network with professionals and scholars close to their fields of study.

This conference is student-run, and also aims at reflecting a positive image of BSIS and its students, as a school active on international, political and social debates, and as integrated in the Brussels community. We hope that many students will attend the event, contribute to the discussions, and enjoy their many opportunities.

If you have any question regarding the conference, please don’t hesitate to email them to ukbconf@kent.ac.uk.
