Applications are now open for a scholarship to study Mandarin Chinese in China next (17/18) academic year. The scholarship is awarded by the Chinese Government and it would suit those who were September students on a standard programme.
Students have a wide choice of institutions that they can study at across China and you’ll find more information can be found here http://www.campuschina.org/.
To apply:
1. Students will need to write a short statement no longer than 1 page in length, discussing how they would benefit from the scholarship and submit this to me at ukbapplications@kent.ac.uk.
2. The Head of School (or their nominee) will then need to rank the applications and provide any comments they wish to submit in support of their nominees.
3. The final decision will then be determined by a panel put together by the Scholarships Unit.
We would require the statement by Monday 30th January, as we need to put forward nominations shortly after this!
