The University has launched a free app service to help give round-the-clock safety reassurance to staff and students.
SafeZone is a simple-to-use application that’s free to download. It’s designed to help students and staff summon security or safety assistance via your mobile phones. https://www.kent.ac.uk/safezone
In the event of an emergency or first aid alert, users can expect an immediate telephone response from Campus Security who will assess the situation with the user and arrange an appropriate response (i.e. provide advice and reassurance, summon emergency services, notify local University of Kent staff).
Enquiries will go to the main Brussels and Paris office numbers from Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm. Outside of those hours enquiries will be routed to the relevant ansaphone.
