Dear Professor Klekowski von Koppenfels,

The German Marshall Fund of the United States is currently accepting entries for the Brussels Forum Young Writers Award 2016 for outstanding and original research on the future of the transatlantic relationship. We would really appreciate if you could share this information with your network, colleagues and students.

The prize is open to all North-American and European students and young professionals under the age of 33. The Award will be presented to a team consisting of one North-American and one European who have co-written a single paper addressing a topic relevant to the transatlantic relationship.

The winning pair will be invited to present their work at Brussels Forum 2016, GMF’s annual flagship event for high-level leaders in the field of politics, business and ideas. In addition, each writer will receive a €2,500 award. The German Marshall Fund will also publish the successful entry.

The registration deadline to enter the contest is October 16, 2015. Once the teams have registered and fulfill the requirements for applying, they will receive confirmation to submit their paper.
