‘EU-Russia Relations: Developing a Transnational Perspective’

with the support of the LLP Programme of the European Union

We have the pleasure to invite you to a major conference on ‘EU-Russia relations: which way forward?’, to be held at the Royal Flemish Academy in Brussels on 2-3rd February 2015.

This conference is organised in the framework of a Jean Monnet Multilateral Research Group on EU-Russia relations, formed by four partner universities: University of Kent, Carleton University, St. Petersburg State University and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

The conference will be the first major event of its kind since the unfolding of the crisis over Ukraine. It brings high-level diplomats (including Russian Ambassador Chizhov and EEAS Director Wiegand) and researchers together to reflect on EU-Russia relations. Apart from  current political developments, four key themes will be dealt with: energy, minority policies, regional integration and the role of multilateralism.
