EU-Russia Relations: Which Way Forward? International Conference

This conference is organised in the framework of a Jean Monnet Multilateral Research Group on EU-Russia relations, formed by four partner universities: University of Kent, Carleton University, St. Petersburg State University and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

The conference takes places February 2-3 2015, The Royal Flemish Academy, Rue Ducale 1, 1000 – Brussels.

The conference will be the first major event of its kind since the unfolding of the crisis over Ukraine. It brings high-level diplomats (including Russian Ambassador Chizhov and EEAS Director Wiegand) and researchers together to reflect on EU-Russia relations in an objective minded and academic setting. Apart from current political developments, four key themes will be dealt with: energy, minority policies, regional integration and the role of multilateralism.
