To improve the support we are able to give to incoming students regarding housing, we are considering enlisting the help of HousingAnywhere (http://www.housinganywhere.com/) to be able to advertise properties currently held by our students that may be passed on to future students.
I am emailing you now to ask for the contact details of any landlords who currently provide apartments to you so that their contact details can be passed on to HousingAnywhere for follow up and an invitation to help them advertise on the site. If we get sufficient take up we would then sign up to join the platform. Landlords would have to be registered with us to be able to upload their properties. Everyone would be able to see the properties, but only potential or actual students would be able to email a landlord using a Kent allocated password. Further information would be passed on to the landlords when HousingAnywhere makes contact with them.
If you are renting a property that you think could be passed on to future BSISers and if your landlord would like to advertise their property/properties, please email me with their name, contact number and telephone details plus brief details of the property including location.
Please forward the details no later than Tuesday 2 December. If we receive sufficient information, we can then take this forward with the online platform.
