I am delighted to invite you to our 50th anniversary celebrations in Brussels on Wednesday, 5 November, 2014, from 6pm in the Marble Room at the Academy Palace, Hertogsstraat 1, B-1000 Brussels.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow will be joining us to speak about Kent’s first 50 years, and its ambitions for the next 50. You will also have the chance to meet with fellow alumni who live in your area, and find out what your peers have been up to since leaving the University.
Our year of anniversary celebrations will be far richer if we can meet as many former students as possible across the world. It would be wonderful if you could bring any photos and memorabilia from your time at the University with you, and share your experiences of Kent with us.
I hope that you will be able to join us at our event in Brussels, and become part of our 50th anniversary celebrations. During our anniversary year, we wish to recognise all of those who have made Kent what it is today and you, as an alumnus, are the reason we are celebrating!
