•    Joint BSIS Anniversary Reception and Networking Event, February 21st

We would like to invite you to attend and participate in the upcoming Joint BSIS anniversary reception and networking event on February 21st from 17:00-21:00!
University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies will celebrate its 15th birthday with a reception for current students and Brussels-based alumni on Friday 21st. In cooperation with key2advance, representatives from various organisations and key2advance`s career advisors (http://key2advance.com/partners.php) will be invited to join in this celebration and meet the university`s faculty, staff and students.
This set up allows you to ask professionals from various fields questions about their line of work (i.e. working conditions, skills, qualifications, growth possibilities, etc…) whilst also allowing former students to reconnect with the university and various organizations in Brussels.

•    Workshop: What is my Dream Job & How to get it!?, Thursday the 30th from 15:00-16:15

The search for the “ideal” job begins with looking at yourself (your strengths, values, interests, skills..etc). Pioneers in career coaching have devised an assessment tool that is composed of 8 factors. Once these conditions are clear, then you can embark on a successful job-hunt. This workshop is for anyone who has spent more time planning their holidays than they have planning their careers;-). (i.e. most of us;-)). It is also very useful for anyone who is planning a career change or has gained a degree or worked in something unrelated prior to starting his/her MA.

•    Specialised career advice sessions
key2advance now has 4 experts in their field offering BSIS students more focused career advice. To read up on their profiles, please go to: http://key2advance.com/partners.php.
Only those who have not had a 45 minute session with me yet, can book a meeting with my colleagues (and vice versa), since every student is entitled to only one session for the duration of their academic year.
To book a meeting, please email me at ukb@key2advance.com indicating your time preference and mentioning whom you would like to meet in the subject line.
