Human Rights Volunteering

Morning!

Quick email to inform you guys about a volunteer opportunity (that you already know about), but NEEDS MORE HELP!

The Latvian Non-Citizens’ Congress which is “a body designed to give a voice to the 295,000 stateless people living in the Baltic state.”

On Wednesday, November 27th, the Non-Citizens’ Congress is organizing an action day to raise awareness of this problem. The organization needs help setting up, distributing flyers, and educating the public, as well as members of Parliament and the Commission. We are starting set-up at 6am and we’ll begin distributing flyers etc. around 7:00am in order to catch the Parliament and Commission members. The event will last until 11:00am/12:00pm.

IF you’d like to help out, contact me ASAP!! I have to email them back tomorrow afternoon to give them idea on number of volunteers. Please email/text/talk to me no later than tomorrow 14:30/15:00.
