FDR Workshops

Dear all,

I understand that some of you were unable to be at the FDR lecture on Tuesday evening when your colleagues signed up for Workshops.

You should select four workshops ASAP (the first one is next week) – their descriptions are in the FDR syllabus, and the schedule is posted on Moodle.

Reminder (again, this is in the syllabus): you MUST take four workshops. You may select any four of the 13 workshops (in several thematic blocks), although some may be of more relevance to you than others – think of your dissertation, but also your overall education. The brief assessments for these workshops together make up 5% of your overall dissertation mark (the other components are 10% dissertation proposal and 85% dissertation).

The DRAFT dissertation proposal is due 17 January. Please submit that on time; it is a brief (max 2-3 pages) overview of your topic, potential research question, etc (please see syllabus for more). It is NOT marked, but it is extremely important in that it allows me to assign you a dissertation supervisor. Please hand it in on time. The dissertation proposal is due March 28. That is marked.

If you were at FDR lecture on Tuesday, and you did sign up for a workshop, I have you registered. No need to email.

Best,
AKvK
