Message from Mona Shair

Dear BSISers,

I would like to remind you about this week`s deadline for ordering business cards and the upcoming networking event on the 28th of February.

Please note that I will not be at BSIS this week and that my next workshop on Interview Tips & Tricks is next Thursday, the 21st.

I am also fully booked for individual sessions until the end of March.

Looking forward to your registrations and reconnecting with you towards the end of the month.

Best regards
Mona

Business cards

BSIS will sponsor business cards for the January and PhD students. Please note that those who have already received cards, cannot order again.

The deadline for entering your information for the business cards is the 14th of February (Valentine`s day;)). On the 15th they will be sent to the print shop!

To make collecting your information easier, I would like to ask you to sign up with the following link:
http://www.key2advance.com/cardsregistration.php

Please double check that all the information is correct before submitting the form, since the print shop will copy/paste all the data entries to make your cards. (pay attention to capitalization of letters, special spelling and symbols). Please also make sure you follow the format suggested on the registration site (i.e. the phone numbers, titles and the use of your KENT email account)

On the 28th during the networking workshop (Wilson room between 15:00 and 16:30), you will receive 100 business cards (individually packed) in full color on off-white good quality stock 250g/m2.

Networking Event, February 28th at Le Méridien Brussels

We would like to invite you to attend and participate in the upcoming Joint Alumni Reunion & Networking Event at Le Méridien Brussels on Thursday the 28t of February from 19:00-22:00.
http://www.lemeridienbruxelles.fr/bar-brussels

In the last two years, we have been inviting contacts from our partner organisations and former BSIS students to act as representatives/ambassadors of their sectors. This set up allows you to ask professionals from various fields questions about their line of work (i.e. working conditions, skills, qualifications, growth possibilities, etc…) whilst also allowing former students to reconnect with the university and various organizations in Brussels.

These “ambassadors” are all willing to answer your questions, draw your attention to opportunities and maybe even provide you with contacts (theirs and that of friends/colleagues).

Please register for this event via the following website: http://key2advance.com/events.php
