Global Governance: Poorly Done and Poorly Understood

Guest lecture by Therese Baptiste-Cornelis

A Guest Lecture took place on Wednesday 28 November by Therese Baptiste-Cornelis on ‘Global Governance: Poorly Done and Poorly Understood’.

The lecture drew on her previous experience as Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago to the UN in Geneva to provide a real-life analogy with ideas outlined in Craig N. Murphy, “Global Governance: Poorly Done and Poorly Understood,” International Affairs, Vol. 76, No.  4, (2000). Therese Baptiste-Cornelis has had an interesting career as an academic, Government Minister, Ambassador and consultant and is still involved in international policy issues relating to small island developing countries.
