Following on from last year’s highly successful visit of former Russian Foreign Minister, Professor Igor Ivanov, BSIS was asked to host a panel discussion on the EU-Russian energy relationship as both parties met to mark the 10th anniversary of their ‘Energy Dialogue’ with meetings between the EU’s Energy Commissioner (Günther Oettinger) and the Russian Energy Minister (Sergei Shmatkó).
The event, which took place on Monday 22 November 2010, was chaired by Professor Amelia Hadfield, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of European Studies.
