{"id":2449,"date":"2020-01-10T10:48:33","date_gmt":"2020-01-10T10:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/biosciences\/?p=2449"},"modified":"2020-01-10T10:48:33","modified_gmt":"2020-01-10T10:48:33","slug":"kent-biosciences-doctoral-training-partnership-open-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/biosciences\/2020\/01\/10\/kent-biosciences-doctoral-training-partnership-open-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership \u2013 Open for applications!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">New multi-million pound investment to support flagship Biosciences doctoral training centre at Kent<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/biosciences\">School of Biosciences<\/a>\u00a0has been awarded a multi-million pound investment from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC, a part of UK Research and Innovation) to provide new PhD studentships as part of a South Coast Biosciences Doctoral Training Partnership (<a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/socobio\/\">SoCoBio DTP<\/a>). The flagship programme will generate a pipeline of highly skilled researchers by creating a supportive and interdisciplinary environment where students learn to innovate and add value to society.<\/p>\n<p>Kent has 22 exciting PhD studentship projects to apply for within the SoCoBio DTP with a <strong>deadline of 28 January 2020<\/strong>.
