Our vibrant culture of innovation and discovery is based on excellence in research, pushing forward the frontiers of our knowledge in the biological sciences. From vaccine development to infection control, fundamental cell biology to drug development, cancer therapy to <em>in vitro<\/em> fertilisation, our research addresses 21<sup>st<\/sup> century real-world challenges of global significance.<\/p>\n<p>Research also underpins our excellent undergraduate and postgraduate education. Students are taught and supported by experts, and our ethos is to inspire all of our students by drawing them in to this journey of discovery.
