{"id":1922,"date":"2018-07-16T15:13:19","date_gmt":"2018-07-16T14:13:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/biosciences\/?p=1922"},"modified":"2018-10-04T15:20:29","modified_gmt":"2018-10-04T14:20:29","slug":"successful-postgraduate-symposium-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/biosciences\/2018\/07\/16\/successful-postgraduate-symposium-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Successful Postgraduate Symposium 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Postgraduate Symposium 2018 \u2013 Guest speaker Professor Jon Pines FRS<br \/>\n<\/strong>Thank you to everyone in the school who contributed to this year&#8217;s successful postgraduate symposium on 10 &amp; 11 July 2018, including speakers, poster presenters, chairs, and prize judges.<br \/>\nThe Symposium Lecture was given this year by Professor Jon Pines, FRS, Head of Division, Cancer Cell Biology, Institute of Cancer Research, London.<\/p>\n<p>With 2 days of interesting science talks by our year 3 PhD students, the year 2 students presented posters and faced questions on their research by judges, academics and students.
