In COVID times we were still able to host the 28th Annual Postgraduate Symposium online today.
Many thanks to the presenting PhD students who shared a diverse array of findings across the broad portfolio of excellent research being undertaken in the School of Biosciences. Staff and student attendees were joined by externals and able to fully engage with the ‘new normal’ format. Many thanks to all that attended, especially Dr Robert Young from Lonza Biologics who sponsored the Best Talk prize and Prof. Chris Knowles, sponsor of the Biotechnology prize. Prize winners were:
Lonza Biologics Prize: Connor Sampson
Knowles Prize: Alexandra Hendry
We look forward to continuing our return to normality within the school to progress and develop all of the excellent research that was presented by all of our students.
