Kent graduates qualify for discounted fees
In the School of Biosciences we offer two types of Master’s degree these are taught and by research. A taught Master’s allows you to specialise in a particular area of science, whereas a research Master degree gives you a year of full-time research-training. We have six different taught programmes and over 50 research projects available including four on Covid-19. All programmes are expected to start this September.
For a research Master’s, we recommend you first contact the supervisor before making an application. This is an important part of the application process and allows us to be confident we can provide you with suitable supervision, support, training, and facilities. Staff contact details can be found on the School’s website
