Canterbury and University Campus

Located at the heart of Kent, the garden of England, Canterbury is rich with literary history and culture, starting with Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, to the renovated Marlowe Theatre, T. S. Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral, Jean Anouilh’s Becket ou l’honneur de dieu, and Virginia Woolf’s remark to her sister: “There is no lovelier place in the world than Canterbury”. The campus itself has colleges named after Eliot, Woolf, and Charles Darwin, while the renowned Cathedral stands at the heart of the city, with ancient chapels and the River Stour winding its way around, and London is less than an hour away.
