{"id":542,"date":"2020-07-22T16:18:54","date_gmt":"2020-07-22T15:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/athenaswan-news\/?p=542"},"modified":"2020-08-10T15:02:35","modified_gmt":"2020-08-10T14:02:35","slug":"enhancements-to-family-friendly-offerings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/athenaswan-news\/?p=542","title":{"rendered":"Enhancements to Family Friendly offerings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Athena SWAN team is pleased to announce that a set of proposals to enhance Kent\u2019s Family Friendly offering have been approved and are now operational.<\/p>\n<p>They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>additional leave and pay for parents of premature babies<\/li>\n<li>special leave for fertility treatment being a benefit available from day 1 of employment<\/li>\n<li>colleagues leaving the University within 3 months of their maternity leave ending will not be asked to pay back any contractual maternity pay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These proposals were based on ideas and feedback gathered through various focus groups, forums and Athena SWAN events.
