2018 has been the year when many different events, talks, and activities have been arranged to celebrate the centenary of the Suffragette movement. Earlier this year the Athena SWAN team at Kent arranged ‘Equaliteas<\/a>‘ events at both Canterbury and Medway campuses. You can read more about those here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As the Centenary celebrations of the Suffragette movement are coming to an end, the University of Kent\u2019s Athena SWAN team, together with the Gulbenkian, wanted to offer one more moment to reflect on what happened 100 years ago. Last\u00a0week we welcomed all staff and students to a free screening of the film \u2018Suffragette<\/a>\u2018 on the 21st of November at the Gulbenkian Cinema.<\/p>\n
