Last year the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) invited bids for its \u00a35million \u2018Inclusion Matters\u2019 programme.<\/p>\n
The Athena SWAN team put ourselves forward as partners in two bids led by the University of Nottingham and University of Lincoln.<\/p>\n
We are delighted that both were successful. For the next two years, we will be working on the University of Nottingham\u2019s \u2018STEMM Change\u2019 project which will cover a range of initiatives to build and embed cultural diversity.<\/p>\n
This includes a \u2018Change Maker\u2019 placement scheme for technical colleagues. The University of Lincoln\u2019s project is \u2018ASPIRE\u2019 and will draw on best practice across the sector to create an \u2018EDI impact framework\u2019.<\/p>\n
For both projects, we will be collaborating with a number of other Universities and commercial partners.<\/p>\n
