The Athena SWAN team has recently welcomed a new member; Sophie Baker has taken up the role of Athena SWAN Adviser (maternity cover for Minna Janhonen) and will be supporting School applications. Sophie joins us from International Partnerships where she advises incoming and outgoing students embarking on international exchanges, and liaises with Kent’s international partner institutions. She says “I am delighted to be joining the Athena SWAN team and contributing to the fantastic work they do. Gender equality is an issue I am passionate about and I am excited to be involved in supporting Schools with their submissions.”
