Many congratulations indeed to Professor Sarah Spurgeon, Head of the School of Engineering and Digital Arts who has been appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to engineering.
Sarah told the Dover Express “I am absolutely delighted and very honoured to be recognised in this very special way. It has been hard work keeping the award a secret from my family!”
