The Kent Student Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution students make to the Kent student experience.<\/p>\n
The School of Politics and International Relations has 3 nominees in 3 categories:<\/p>\n
Outstanding Contribution to the Environment<\/strong> Danel Nugmanova, Rutherford College Outstanding Contribution to College Life<\/strong> Beverley Isibor,\u00a0Keynes College Outstanding Contribution to Sports Development<\/strong><\/p>\n This award recognises the best overall student contribution to sport development. It will include those using sport to reach out to others, enabling communities or individuals to develop and grow, perhaps regulating and assisting by coaching, refereeing or providing support, as well as rewarding those participating in a team or individual activity.<\/p>\n Charles Dabbs,\u00a0Rutherford College <\/p>\n More than 250 nominations were received for the annual awards. The winning students will be announced at the gala dinner on Friday 1 June. \nThis award recognises a student’s outstanding contribution to the life of a College. This may be through sport, a college committee, volunteering, key social events\/activities and\/or as a student ambassador.<\/p>\n

\nFor her campaign work including the #NoMore mental health campaign and supporting Black History Month.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nFor his dedication as President of the Kent Knights Ice Hockey Team and building a successful club, which is accessible to all students.<\/em><\/p>\n
