About the programme:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Join us for 2 or 4 weeks, living on a\u00a040,000 hectare<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cBig Five\u201d (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo) wildlife reserve in South Africa, as you volunteer and take part in\u00a0over 12 different conservation projects!<\/strong><\/p>\n Live and work in the heart of the African bush. Your camp can be found on the banks of Oliphants River, an animal highway and a great spot to watch wildlife. This will be your home base where you’ll spend most of your time taking part in conservation projects.<\/p>\n Work hours:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Full time Monday to Friday, with a chance to do the many optional activities on offer in the area on the weekends.<\/p>\n Most days begin with an early start, (as animals are most active morning and evening to beat the heat) and finish with the beautiful African sun set.<\/p>\n Each day your guides will brief you on the details of each conservation project and how you will be contributing. Then, as a team and under the supervision of your guides, you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience working directly with wildlife and local communities.<\/p>\n Projects you’ll work on:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n – Rhino behavioural research
