Our Economics Year in Industry students are about to head off! We met with them to prepare for this exciting new adventure.<\/p>\n

The new cohort for the\u00a0Economics with Year in Industry<\/a>\u00a0programme attended a \u201cPre-Departure Briefing\u201d. \u00a012 students have successfully secured a placement for the next academic year (2022-23). This is a great achievement, which was recognised with a variety of well-known placement providers, such as Morgan Stanley, IBM, GES-HMT, Aldi, GES-Government Social Research, Pfizer, etc.<\/p>\n

Dr Pen\u00e9lope Pacheco-L\u00f3pez<\/a>\u00a0(Director of Placements) explained the various ways in which the HSS Placements Team will keep in contact with them while they are busy at their placement. The expectations on their performance are set high. They are going to be ambassadors for the School of Economics and the University of Kent.<\/p>\n
