10:00 – 14:00 | Friday, 30 June | Canterbury CampusWe are pleased to announce that Creative Spaces will be collaborating with Kent Community Oasis Garden (KentCOG) for a special event!We will be trying out new activities including hapa zome (a Japanese method of dyeing fabrics or papers with leaves and flowers), pot decorating and planting seeds and cuttings. You can even bring along empty containers you want to transform into beautiful pots, such as old milk cartons, plastic drink bottles or maybe an old pair of shoes! You’re also welcome to look at the wonderful work KentCOG are doing to make the University a more sustainable institution, as well as the wellbeing spaces and volunteering opportunities they provide for students.Whether you are a total beginner, or someone who has green fingers,there is a space for you! This event is a chance for you to learn about how we can protect and enhance our ecosystem by working alongside nature by becoming more sustainable with our food consumption and waste, and to show you the beauty and wonder of plant life.You’re more than welcome to join us there or meet us at the UG English Common Room by Rutherford Extension where we will embark to the garden together.
