There are future progression opportunities for the right person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a full-time, permanent position that is based primarily at our office in Borough Green, Kent (although some travel to sites will be required).<\/p>\n<p>We offer a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits, including;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Enhanced holiday entitlement<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Company pension scheme<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Life Assurance<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Training &amp; Development opportunities, including support for professional studies<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A supportive working environment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; basic salary of \u00a327,000 &#8211; \u00a328,000 per annum.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u00a0based at office in Borough Green, near Sevenoaks, which is located very close to Borough Green &amp; Wrotham railway station.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role incorporates a wide range of duties, including;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Producing planning and appeal statements, and site appraisals<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Attending meetings and taking minutes<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Managing planning projects, including liaising with external consultants and clients<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Visiting sites to carry out project work<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Carrying out administrative duties- answering telephones, responding to emails, filing and organising meetings<\/p>\n<p>The usual working hours for this role are 9am \u2013 5pm from Monday \u2013 Friday, however you may occasionally need to attend meetings outside these hours (such as Council meetings and public consultation events).<\/p>\n<p><strong>About you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and to hold a problem-solving mindset. You\u2019ll need strong ICT skills, and to be highly organised and able to multi-task.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to hold an undergraduate degree, and possess a full driving licence.
