{"id":590,"date":"2022-04-25T12:48:25","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T11:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/artshumsemployability\/?p=590"},"modified":"2022-04-25T12:48:25","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T11:48:25","slug":"weston-williamson-prize-competition-for-architect-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/artshumsemployability\/2022\/04\/25\/weston-williamson-prize-competition-for-architect-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Weston Williamson Prize &#8211; competition for Architect Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">Chance to win \u00a31500 or \u00a3500 to the runner-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calling all Architect students!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">After a successful year last year of entrants, Weston Williamson and Partners are awarding another prize of \u00a31500 (and \u00a3500 to the runner up) for projects associated with travelling in or between our UK cities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The winner could be a design project such as a new station, an urban design proposal or research or dissertation\u2026Anything which adds to the debate about transport in the future. For each submission, we would appreciate a little blurb about the thought process behind the entry (this can be in a separate word document or on the email body itself.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">All Architecture Students in the UK are eligible, and entries should be sent to myself at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Jack.Powell@westonwilliamson.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">Jack.Powell@westonwilliamson.com<\/a>\u00a0(if not too big) or via Wetransfer or Dropbox.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The prizes will be awarded at a dinner hosted by the Company of Chartered Architects one of the City of London Livery Companies later in the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>T&amp;Cs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\">Deadline for entries 1<sup>st<\/sup><span class=\"x_apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>July 2022<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\">Students can enter up to 3 submissions each<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\">Group entries are allowed however the price money would then be split between the winners<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\">University name must be stated in the email<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpLast\">All entries to have a max of 10 pages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" aria-hidden=\"true\">Any questions please email <a href=\"mailto:Jack.Powell@westonwilliamson.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">Jack.Powell@westonwilliamson.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chance to win \u00a31500 or \u00a3500 to the runner-up.
