B-Corp certified Abel &amp; Cole have launched \u2018Foot in the Door\u2019.<\/div>\n<p>This paid, two-week placement based near South Wimbledon, London will give you the practical industry experience and contacts to kick start your journey.<\/p>\n<p>From assisting on set to creating marketing designs, you\u2019ll be busy getting stuck into a mix of creative tasks to help your CV and Portfolio shine. You\u2019ll spend time getting to know a range of professional Creatives, from Videographers to Copywriters, plus get valuable interview practice and feedback. So you\u2019re set up to take that first step in your Creative career. Abel &amp; Cole have an Equality, Diversity &amp; Inclusivity Committee. Your two-week placement will be led by our Head of Brand &amp; Creative (ED&amp;I Committee\u2019s Content Champion) and by our Project &amp; Studio Manager (ED&amp;I Committee\u2019s Race &amp; Ethnicity Champion).<\/p>\n<p>We are keen to encourage applications from people from all backgrounds. This opportunity is only available to those aged over 18. You also must be available to come to our office near South Wimbledon each day Monday 21st August \u2013 Friday 25th August and Monday 28th August \u2013 Friday 1st September or your application will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Your hours will be 9-17:30 with lunch provided by our amazing on-site chef Monday-Thursday and then by the Studio team on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll be getting up to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting on set in our studio during photoshoots and videoshoots<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the smooth running of our studio Attending daily creative stand ups<\/li>\n<li>Attending creative briefings<\/li>\n<li>Learning about our brand guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Help create designs such as social media and poster<\/li>\n<li>Each day will start with a \u2018get to know\u2019 session with different members of the team from Copywriters to Designers so you can learn about different creative pathways and ask plenty of questions<\/li>\n<li>Spend time researching competitor\u2019s creative to present to the Brand &amp; Creative Team at the end of your placement<\/li>\n<li>Spend time creating a video of your placement which will be posted to our company LinkedIn as well as presented to the Brand &amp; Creative Team at the end of your placement Interview practice and feedback session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ambition to pursue a career in the creative industry &#8211; Lots of creative energy and keen to get stuck in &#8211; Examples of your creative work that demonstrate your passion and drive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>We want to hear who you are, what drives you to pursue a Creative career, and examples of your creativity. &#8211; The format of your application can be written or video \u2013 it\u2019s up to you! We want to see your personality and passion shine. &#8211; Tell us about your story so far. Why does this placement excite you? What makes you the best person for it? &#8211; Tell us about your passion for Creativity. What inspires you? What\u2019s your ambition and why? &#8211; Bring that passion to life. What examples can you show us of your Creative work?
