The full Rewards Pack won\u2019t be released until early March, but we\u2019ve decided to treat students to a preview of just a few of the opportunities that are going to be available!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A 12-week paid Internship with DHA Planning &#8211; <\/strong>The chance to work within one of the planning teams, completing planning history searches, compiling consultation responses, drafting planning statements, monitoring decision notices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A 6-week paid Internship with The Kent Mining Museum \u2013 <\/strong>The opportunity to undertake work in different teams at the museum, covering project work, education and learning, collections and operations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A 12-day Work Experience with Lilford Gallery \u2013 <\/strong>The opportunity to undertake an extended work experience placement, which will include art curating, research into artists, sales training, working with current artists and curating for events.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A 2-week Work Experience with Digitom \u2013 <\/strong>An opportunity to shadow the production team, working across various branded content films and potentially animation projects. This will involve planning productions, filming on location and post-production editing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Company Experience Day at Kent County Council \u2013 <\/strong>The chance to spend a day focussed on Governance, Law and Democracy at the Kent County Council Offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is still plenty of time to earn more points \u2013 the deadline for logging points is <strong>Monday 13<sup>th<\/sup> March<\/strong>. Find out how to join the scheme and earn points from co-curricular activities on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/employability-points\/sign-up-and-earn-points\">EP Website<\/a>. Don\u2019t forget, you can log any activities that you have done since starting your studies at Kent.<\/p>\n<p>You need 200 points to apply for an internship, 150 points for work experience, 100 points for work shadowing opportunities and 75 points for experience days.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t take our word for how amazing these opportunities are \u2013 take the words of some EP alumni from last year:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe scheme gives you confidence and makes you feel more settled about your future \u2013 it\u2019s worthwhile and I would definitely encourage getting involved\u201d <\/em>\u2013 Harvey Blazquez, EP intern at Medway Council<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis experience has not only bolstered my learning, but has really given me the confidence that I am right in my choice of career path&#8230; It\u2019s something that I am finding more and more enjoyment in\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Buauna Ball, EP placement at Digitom<\/p>\n<p>So, what are you waiting for?
