\u00a0<\/span>Dr Eve Kalyva,<\/a> Lecturer in Art History, has received funding from the Society for Latin American Studies for a two-day event entitled \u2018Working with the Works of Leon Ferrari\u2019<\/em>. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Taking place on 8 and 9 December<\/span>, this interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral event showcases the expansive oeuvre of renowned Argentine artist Le\u00f3n Ferrari, and his multifaceted artistic practice, as well as its resonance in today\u2019s context. It negotiates key issues in the study of Latin American art and culture and brings together art historians, museum professionals, curators and conservators. <\/span><\/p>\n On the first day, Dr Kalyva will be hosting a workshop at the Tate Modern, which will offer a first-hand experience of Ferrari\u2019s work.
