{"id":3953,"date":"2020-08-21T13:02:14","date_gmt":"2020-08-21T12:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=3953"},"modified":"2020-08-21T13:24:59","modified_gmt":"2020-08-21T12:24:59","slug":"graduate-theatre-company-golkks-online-workshops-and-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2020\/08\/21\/graduate-theatre-company-golkks-online-workshops-and-performance\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduate theatre company GOLKK&#8217;s online workshops and performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.golkk.com\/\">GOLKK Theatre<\/a>, one of the theatre companies supported by the School of Arts, are creating a performance entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loopingtheloopfestival.org.uk\/future-us.html\"><em>Future Us<\/em><\/a> which will premiere at a Watch Party on Saturday 19 September 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been commissioned by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loopingtheloopfestival.org.uk\/\">Looping the Loop Festival<\/a>, as part of their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loopingtheloopfestival.org.uk\/back-to-the-future.html\"><em>Back to The Future<\/em><\/a> project, made possible by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artscouncil.org.uk\/\">Arts Council Emergency Grants<\/a>. Looping the Loop aims to make live performance available to everyone in Thanet, a region of Kent.<\/p>\n<p>Are you excited about the creative future? <em>Future Us<\/em> will be an intergenerational online performance, inspired by the word &#8216;Future&#8217;, and created over four one-hour workshops taking place on Saturday 12 September 2020. Each workshop group will cover a different age range; under 13, 14-17, 18-50, and 51+.
