The podcast is written and hosted by Tiernan Douieb, a Kent alumnus who completed his BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre in 1999.

Partly Political Broadcast is a (mostly) weekly podcast that combines politics and comedy in a way that might seem pointless in today’s farcical day and age, but the difference is on this podcast the humour is intentional. Every episode has a joke filled look at the previous week’s political news alongside in-depth interviews with political guests who fully explain and discuss current issues.

In the episode, Olly talks about the effect of the COVID-19 lockdown on the comedy industry. Olly also discusses the effect of lockdown on universities, and what Kent has been doing to make sure the students still get a good experience.

The podcast is available on the Partly Political Broadcast website, here:
www.partlypoliticalbroadcast.tiernandouieb.co.uk/2020/07/21/over-by-christmas-russian-interference-vaccines-brexit-fallout-and-dr-oliver-double-on-the-existential-threat-facing-the-comedy-circuit/

Dr Olly Double, Reader in Drama in the School of Arts, has been interviewed on the latest episode of the Partly Political Broadcast podcast, entitled … Read more

[167396,50018,124,9111
