The prizes were first awarded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/graduate-school\/about\">Graduate School<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to announce several members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\">School of Arts<\/a> are among this year\u2019s recipients. Alice Helliwell, who is currently studying for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/100\/history-and-philosophy-of-art\">PhD in the History and Philosophy of Art<\/a>, won one of the five prizes for Best Student. And both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/people\/527\/jeffers-mcdonald-tamar\">Dr Tamar Jeffers McDonald<\/a>, Head of the School of Arts, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/people\/2146\/smith-murray\">Murray Smith<\/a>, Professor of Film, were each awarded a Best Supervisor award.<\/p>\n<p>Our congratulations to Alice, Tamar, and Murray.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the 2020 Graduate School Prizes have just been announced.
