{"id":3386,"date":"2020-03-03T09:08:59","date_gmt":"2020-03-03T09:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=3386"},"modified":"2020-03-03T10:40:59","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T10:40:59","slug":"arts-students-showcase-work-on-bbc-radio-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2020\/03\/03\/arts-students-showcase-work-on-bbc-radio-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"Arts students showcase work on BBC Radio Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier last month, students from the School of Arts featured on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sounds\/play\/live:bbc_radio_kent\">BBC Radio Kent<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/p0822xqm\"><em>Upload<\/em><\/a> programme with Leo Ulph, who broadcast clips of their creative works.<\/p>\n<p>Ogo Anokwuru, who is completing her final year on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/114\/drama-and-theatre\">BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre<\/a>, featured on the edition broadcast on 18 February 2020. Ogo was interviewed on her own personal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCVU6Ae4uy_JVy8fQYqIu1kw\">YouTube channel<\/a>, even playing some audio clips of her presenting style. Interviewing Ogo, Leo asked her about students\u2019 spending habits. When asked for her inspiration behind her YouTube channel, Ogo explains: \u2018My family think I\u2019m fun, and I thought, yes, I might as well make videos out of it. They love it \u2013 they think I\u2019m super funny which is really nice.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>To hear the interview, please go to 27\u201947\u201d here:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sounds\/play\/p0822xqm\">https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sounds\/play\/p0822xqm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The following week, on 25 February 2020, Molly Field, who is studying on the first year of her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/1901\/media-studies\">BA (Hons) in Media Studies<\/a>, was interviewed about a mockumentary film titled <em>Alien Society: The First Communication<\/em>\u00a0that she made with other students during the module <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/modules\/module\/MSTU3000\">Making Media<\/a>.
