{"id":3311,"date":"2020-09-24T16:17:46","date_gmt":"2020-09-24T15:17:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=3311"},"modified":"2020-09-24T16:17:46","modified_gmt":"2020-09-24T15:17:46","slug":"ktv-film-festival-2020-goes-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2020\/09\/24\/ktv-film-festival-2020-goes-online\/","title":{"rendered":"KTV Film Festival 2020 goes online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seven students from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/index.html\">School of Arts<\/a> are having their own directorial features showcased as part of the KTV Film Festival 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KentTelevision\">KTV, Kent Union\u2019s television station<\/a>, and is independent of any curricular film practice. The festival aims to showcase the outstanding talent of student filmmakers at Kent. The festival was to be held in the <a href=\"https:\/\/thegulbenkian.co.uk\/\">Gulbenkian<\/a> cinema, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the full 2020 programme is currently being made available online on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenttelevision.com\/\">KTV&#8217;s own website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are seven films produced for the festival:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=56HVhm1XcWw\"><em>Intangible Thread<\/em><\/a>, directed by Iris Perovi\u0107, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/165\/film-and-drama\">BA (Hons) in Drama and Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HDFDHHGShaY\">Father<\/a>, <\/em>directed by\u00a0 Richard Meinardus, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/99\/film\">BA (Hons) in Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3coYQvE5Jac\">Findling<\/a>,<\/em> directed by Yannis Grimm, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/165\/film-and-drama\">BA (Hons) in Drama and Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_B42muDoXlA&amp;t=2s\">Zero<\/a><\/em>, directed by Amelia Mundy,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/165\/film-and-drama\"> BA (Hons) in Drama and Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SDoo0XszVHc\"><em>Tala<\/em><\/a>, directed by Trisha Evans-Lutterodt, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/99\/film\">BA (Hons) in Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4ukjH1gxS2Q\"><em>White Whale<\/em><\/a>, directed by Marko Steinberg, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/268\/comparative-literature-and-film\">BA (Hons) in Comparative Literature and Film<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenttelevision.com\/copy-of-father-3\">Film X Passion<\/a>,<\/em> directed by Ogo Anokwuru, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/114\">BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The films are currently being made available to view here:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenttelevision.com\/ktv-films\">https:\/\/www.kenttelevision.com\/ktv-films<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seven students from the School of Arts are having their own directorial features showcased as part of the KTV Film Festival 2020.
