{"id":2749,"date":"2019-08-16T12:50:54","date_gmt":"2019-08-16T11:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=2749"},"modified":"2019-10-03T10:54:09","modified_gmt":"2019-10-03T09:54:09","slug":"further-alumni-at-the-edinburgh-fringe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2019\/08\/16\/further-alumni-at-the-edinburgh-fringe\/","title":{"rendered":"Further alumni at the Edinburgh Fringe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Further to our announcement about our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/newsandevents\/index.html?view=2690\">alumni featuring at the Edinburgh Festival<\/a>, we\u2019re pleased to announce that alumna Invi Brenna, who completed an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/1222\/theatre-making\">MA in Theatre Making<\/a> in 2016 , will be performing in <em>Love and Misinformation<\/em> by theatre company The Improvised Play at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greensidevenue.co.uk\/\">Greenside<\/a> theatre at the Royal Terrace, from Monday 19 to Saturday 24 August 2019.<\/p>\n<p><em>Love and Misinformation<\/em> is a spontaneous play in the style of Caryl Churchill. Connected and heartfelt, revolutionary and irreverent, the The Improvised Play (pictured) will break and remake its format every night. Anything is possible, but they guarantee you\u2019ll be surprised, provoked, and moved. The ensemble have chosen to emulate Caryl Churchill because they are impressed by her honesty, her flexibility, her quiet genius and her revolutionary spirit. They hope her influence will shine through their work.<\/p>\n<p>The performance has already been a focus of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestage.co.uk\/features\/interviews\/2019\/how-the-fringe-became-a-home-for-international-improv\/\">a feature in <em>The Stage<\/em> newspaper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets cost between \u00a37.00 and \u00a312.00.
