{"id":2553,"date":"2019-06-26T16:26:31","date_gmt":"2019-06-26T15:26:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=2553"},"modified":"2019-06-26T16:28:47","modified_gmt":"2019-06-26T15:28:47","slug":"funding-for-symposium-exploring-the-work-of-sherri-irvin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2019\/06\/26\/funding-for-symposium-exploring-the-work-of-sherri-irvin\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding for symposium exploring the work of Sherri Irvin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Eleen M Deprez, curator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/studio3gallery\/\">Studio 3 Gallery<\/a>, has been awarded a grant from the <a href=\"https:\/\/british-aesthetics.org\/\">British Society of Aesthetics<\/a> to support a symposium hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/aesthetics-research.org\/\">Aesthetics Research Centre<\/a> to discuss Immaterial: A Philosophy of Contemporary, a forthcoming book by Professor Sherri Irvin.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ou.edu\/cas\/philosophy\/people\/faculty\/sherri-irvin\">Professor Sherri Irvin<\/a> specialises in aesthetics and the philosophy of art.
