{"id":2052,"date":"2019-02-15T17:09:04","date_gmt":"2019-02-15T17:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=2052"},"modified":"2019-11-15T17:43:50","modified_gmt":"2019-11-15T17:43:50","slug":"margherita-laera-leads-fabulamundi-translation-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2019\/02\/15\/margherita-laera-leads-fabulamundi-translation-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"Margherita Laera leads Fabulamundi translation workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/people\/academic-staff\/laera.html\">Dr Margherita Laera<\/a>, Senior Lecturer in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/drama.html\">Drama and Theatre<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/index.html\">School of Arts<\/a>, will be in Milan next week to lead a translation workshop to translate the play<em> Portrait of an Arab Woman Looking at the Sea<\/em>, by award-winning playwright <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fabulamundi.eu\/en\/davide-carnevali\/\">Davide Carnevali<\/a>, from Monday 18 to Friday 22 February 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The play explores a relationship across the Mediterranean between a European man and a North African woman, a metaphor for European-Arabic relations.
