{"id":2026,"date":"2019-02-12T14:19:47","date_gmt":"2019-02-12T14:19:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=2026"},"modified":"2019-02-12T14:19:47","modified_gmt":"2019-02-12T14:19:47","slug":"laura-lexx-at-the-soho-theatre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2019\/02\/12\/laura-lexx-at-the-soho-theatre\/","title":{"rendered":"Laura Lexx at the Soho Theatre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following on from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/newsandevents\/index.html?view=1870\">her appearance on the <em>Live at the Apollo <\/em>Christmas special<\/a>, Drama alumna Laura Lexx will be performing her stand-up show \u2018Trying\u2019 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/sohotheatre.com\/\">Soho Theatre<\/a> in London this month, running Wednesday 20 February to Saturday 23 February 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Laura spent 2017 trying to get through therapy, trying the patience of everyone and trying unsuccessfully for a baby. Now she\u2019s challenging stigmas and laughing in the face of things we\u2019ve been silent about for too long.<\/p>\n<p>Laura studied an MDrama at Kent, specialising in stand-up comedy in her final year.
