{"id":1992,"date":"2019-01-30T14:47:44","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T14:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/?p=1992"},"modified":"2019-01-30T14:53:02","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T14:53:02","slug":"history-of-art-intern-partnership-with-canterbury-museums-and-galleries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/arts-news\/2019\/01\/30\/history-of-art-intern-partnership-with-canterbury-museums-and-galleries\/","title":{"rendered":"History of Art intern partnership with Canterbury Museums and Galleries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/arts\/hpa.html\">Department of History of Art<\/a> is delighted to announce a new partnership initiative with <a href=\"https:\/\/canterburymuseums.co.uk\/beaney\/\">The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge<\/a>, part of the Canterbury Museums and Galleries group, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/esmeefairbairn.org.uk\/\">Esmee Fairburn Fund<\/a> to offer nine spring-term internships for our students.<\/p>\n<p>The project will enable Stage 1 and Stage 2 students to help research and record the museum\u2019s extensive art collection which includes work by Henry Moore and David Hockney in addition to a wide selection of Old Master material.
