This was the first ever theatrical adaptation of Ken Loach\u2019s seminal film <em>Cathy Come Home<\/em>\u00a0and was described as \u201cremarkable\u201d by the Guardian.<\/p>\n<p>An audience of more than 1,400 watched the production while thousands more around the world tuned in to the\u00a0live stream online.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to Elle and the rest of the cast!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cardboardcitizens.org.uk\/\">Cardboard Citizens<\/a> has been making life-changing theatre with and for homeless people for over 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>Columnist Samira Ahmed published an article about it in the Big Issue,\u00a0a magazine sold by homeless and long-term unemployed people, last week.
