Congratulations to Arts students Sarue Jokonya (Film),\u00a0Tabitha Porter (Drama) and\u00a0Hannah Trott (Drama) who all were finalists for the Kent Student Awards this year.<\/p>\n
In the category of Outstanding Contribution to Arts and Culture,<\/strong> Sarue Jakonya was awarded second place for founding the Canterbury University Film Festival (CUFF) which has added to Kent\u2019s film culture and overall student experience.<\/p>\n In the category of Outstanding Contribution to Arts and Culture<\/strong>,\u00a0Tabitha Porter was awarded third place for her excellent work as President of the T24 Drama Society and her dedication to promoting thought-provoking theatre.<\/p>\n In the category of Outstanding Fundraiser of the Year,<\/strong>\u00a0Hannah Trott was awarded third place for her amazing contribution to fundraising activities that take place within Kent RaG and for her own individual fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n We are incredibly proud that our students are contributing so much to university life and promoting the arts on campus and in Canterbury.
