Congratulations to Dr Helen Brooks, Dr Olly Double, Dr Tamar Jeffers McDonald and Dr Melissa Trimingham who have all been successful recipients of this year’s Public Engagement with Research Fund. This fund builds on the University of Kent’s commitment to embed public engagement with research across the institution.
This tremendous achievement highlights the public and outward-facing impact of the School of Arts’ research. Below are what each winner was awarded the fund for:

- Oliver Double – British Stand-Up Comedy Archive Podcast
- Tamar Jeffers McDonald – Women’s War Work Is Never Done: Female Representation in The War Illustrated
- Melissa Trimingham – Autism Affects: extending impact in Imagining Autism
