Book now for our Arts at Kent Day!

On Saturday 7th November 2015 from 10am-4pm, we will be holding our Arts at Kent Day which is part of the Humanities at Kent Day here at the University of Kent.

Prospective Undergraduate applicants are invited to come along to spend a day with us in the School of Arts and experience what it is like to be a student with us by taking part in Drama, Film, History of Art or Media Arts taster sessions.

You will get a real flavour for the topics we teach, be taught by our academic staff and will have a chance to socialise with our current students.

Interested in joint honours? You can choose to split your day between two subject areas across the Humanities faculty, allowing you to get a feel for multiple subject areas.

Lunch will be provided and there will also be opportunities to get more information about the School, the application process and life at Kent in general.

Here are what students who attended last year’s Arts at Kent Day said about their experience…

“The taster sessions allowed me to see what studying the subject is about which has made me very enthusiastic about studying at Kent.”

“All the activities were very well catered towards a group of people who had not met before so no one felt pressured or singled out.”

“I felt about to speak about art passionately and in a way I can’t usually unless speaking to someone who shares the same passion as me and I greatly appreciated that opportunity.”

If you would like to attend our Arts at Kent Day 2015 please complete our booking form by Friday 16th October 2015. It includes all of the information about the different workshops that will be running and for some subjects you can choose which workshops you would like to attend.

You will then be emailed your own personal timetable closer to the day.

Please note, while we are happy for you to bring parents/guardians along, they will be unable to attend the taster sessions with you due to limits on numbers. We will be able to provide them with a useful guide to Canterbury which they can use to explore the city for the day.

If you have any questions about the day feel free to contact us on arts@kent.ac.uk
