School of Arts Admin Team Shortlisted for THE Leadership and Management Awards 2015

Congratulations to the administration team at the School of Arts who have been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2015 in the category ‘Outstanding Departmental Administration Team.’

The simple fact is that the School of Arts admin team is superb. The support I’ve been given by individuals and the group as a whole is exemplary. Academics and students are the beneficiaries of the hard work and dedication given to the School by colleagues who go above and beyond what is required of them…the leadership, teamwork and professionalism shown by the School’s administrative staff has enabled a more collaborative and collective spirit to gel and take hold across the School. Professor Peter Stanfield (Head of the School of Arts, 2013- Present)

The School of Arts Admin Team have consistently demonstrated their commitment to excellence in every aspect of their support for academic staff and students. It is a mark of this team that they are continually pursuing the enhancement of what they do, always going beyond norms and expectations to achieve best practice across the whole range of their activities. Academic staff within the School feel very, very fortunate to have this team supporting themDr.Jonathan Friday (Head of the School of Arts, 2007 – 2013)

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on the 18th June and we would like to wish all members of the admin team good luck and well done!
