It can be viewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onceuponatimeandnow.com\/once-upon-a-time-and-now\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Through the exhibition, curators Diletta D\u2019Antoni, In\u00eas Mourato and Junwei Chen invite viewers to rediscover the history of women through the influence of the goddess Isis, an Ancient Egyptian deity.<\/p>\n<p>Featured artists include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tate.org.uk\/art\/artists\/nancy-spero-2399\">Nancy Spero<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.daviddeweerdt.com\/\">David Deweerdt<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nooji.nooji\/\">Nooji Studio<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/alaa-awad.com\/\">Alaa Awad<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesputnam.org.uk\/\">James Putnam<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.prattcontemporaryart.co.uk\/\">Ana Maria Pacheco<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.silviapaci.it\/\">Silvia Paci<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/user107341161\/videos\">Claudia Niarni<\/a>, Bin Luo,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wassallcom.wordpress.com\/\">Nicole Wassall<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.almagulmenlibayeva.com\/\">Almagul Menlibayeva<\/a>, Bin Zhao, Lu Han, Crisia Constantine and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marykellyartist.com\/\">Mary Kelly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00eas Mourato said: \u2018Isis was an omniscient deity endowed with magical powers. Her supremacy over all the gods reflected the recognised status of Egyptian women. \u201cWiser than a million gods\u201d, Isis had a complete knowledge of the heavens and the earth. Yet she also incorporated human qualities \u2013 a natural balance of good and evil \u2013 that ordinary women could relate to.
